Shadow Seeker

The Shadow Seeker is one of the first Coalition vessels not constructed in a war effort. Based off of a mid size Alareen CCS personal ship: it was retrofitted by the NSL holdership of Bryce. The project was one of the first Contracted between the CCS and the NSL and was negotiated by two private companies.

The retrofit mainly affected the larger forward fuselage, replacing the seating deck with a wrap around sensor array. this array built on Bryce, was an experimental system known as 'Deep blue' and was the main reason the contract was awarded to the NSL.

The Shadow Seeker is by human nomenclature a sensor frigate, with little armaments she is meant to explore the void and listen for distant echos therein. in the expansion era of the early Coalition years, the Shadow Seeker and its sister ships built soon after were soon seen on many rim stations, refiling before going out on surveys to chart the unknown.

The upper fuselage is mostly still an alareen scale affair, with the crew quarters mess and bridge. the main fuselage is mostly all machinery or storage, its worth noting most of the machinery beside the power plant is human sized and needs Human sized maintenance. The ventral wing area is mostly human sized. Despite the upper levels scale, most of the crew spends there time there given the spectacular viewing ports, large even by Alareen standards.

As the expansion era ended and entered the pre-machine war times, raiders and unknown forces had forced most Shadow Seekers to be accompanied by escorts. soon almost all fleets in the known coalition space had one as a matter of course.
